Researchers with the DIT have announced a new computing system, AYACOMP, designed to revolutionize military technology. This new technology is incredibly miniaturizable and is planned for integration into weapons systems across all branches. From the humble infantryman's rifle, now a smart rifle with smart target identification, to a smart missile designed to protect lives by seeking out anti-aircraft missile sites before a launch is even detected.

This technology will also be used to revolutionize military logistics. Running 100x faster than current-gen computing technology, AYACOMP will be able to determine when and where to send resources before anyone realizes they even need them. Better resource management means more effective fighting forces and, just as important, better morale.

Soon this advanced technology may even be available for civilian use. DIT is collaborating with IBM to bring a version of this technology to the workstation, revolutionizing the office space forever.
